Leadership the way the planet intended
Nature knows how to inspire connection, renewal and growth
Forest roots and fungi create underground networks to feed and sustain each other.
Bees and flowers collaborate to pollinate fruit trees and nuts and create food.
Geese fly in formation, communicating and changing leaders, to fly more efficiently.
Nature as inspiration
NutHatch is a coaching and strategy practice rooted in nature’s wisdom, serving the unique needs of our time.
We walk alongside changemakers as they chart new paths — for themselves, their teams, and the systems they seek to transform.
We help leaders and organizations renew themselves, nurture thriving cultures, embrace complexity, and meet their challenges with creativity and courage. This often means working through tension and conflict, and facilitating spaces where new collective visions and pathways can take root.
In a world where old systems are crumbling, we are especially devoted to helping leaders plant and grow what comes next — seeding bold approaches, cultivating new organizations, and supporting the emergence of regenerative ways of being and doing.
Nature teaches us that true leadership arises not from lone heroics, but from collaboration and interdependence. Regenerative change requires adaptability, resilience, and deep connection — to ourselves, to others, and to the earth.
These are the principles that sustain our work and our souls.
We seek to inspire leadership the way the planet intended.

Why Coaching?
In a world marked by collapse, volatility, and possibility, changemakers are asking deeper questions: How can I meet this moment with clarity, courage, and impact? How do I keep evolving — not just to lead better, but to live more fully?
At NutHatch, we believe that every leader deserves a space to pause, reflect, and grow. A place to bring the full complexity of who they are — and who they are becoming — in service of what they are here to achieve.
Our coaching helps people meet their challenges with greater presence, wholeness, and imagination. We support leaders to become more resourceful, more centered, and more aligned — so they can lead boldly, inspire others, and make the contribution they know they’re capable of.
We are trained, and Master Certified, in Integral Coaching® — a powerful methodology that honours the full spectrum of what makes us human: our bodies, emotions, beliefs, values, and worldviews. This approach reveals the patterns that shape our role while opening new possibilities for insight, action, and impact.
It is both practical and profound: grounded in structure, yet spacious enough for transformation.
Strategy and Impact
We have decades of organizational and governance experience leading and transforming philanthropic institutions, climate and environment organizations, and major international development and human rights entities.
In this time of profound transition, we work with funders and organizations who are not just refining their strategies — but reimagining their roles in the world.
We help philanthropic entities clarify purpose, align values with action, and design strategies that are bold, grounded, and responsive to complexity. Whether it’s articulating a strategic compass, reshaping grantmaking, evolving governance, or embedding equity and systems-change approaches — we offer both structure and soul.
We create reflective, relational spaces where new insights emerge — drawing on nature’s intelligence, integral facilitation, and deep listening to what wants to be born.
Because in this moment, strategy is not just a roadmap — it’s a living system, rooted in purpose and growing what the future needs.
Why NutHatch?
We have come to know and love this small agile bird that sees the world from all angles — even upside down. This uncommon perspective allows it to notice what others overlook.
Found around the world, it adapts with grace to changing climates and ecosystems, moves with quiet determination, and communicates in a chorus of clear, distinct calls.
In Dutch, its name means “sticky” bird — a nod to its tenacious grip and, fittingly, the lasting impact of our coaching.
For us, the nuthatch is a symbol of resilience, curiosity, and attunement — a humble teacher in leading through complexity.

I’m happiest when there’s a big dinner table surrounded by friends, the forest path under my boots, a rock garden taking shape in my hands, or a guilty-pleasure episode of The Voice on screen.

My perfect day starts with a strong espresso and a workout. I love hiking with our dog Cricket, meaningful conversations, the stillness of zen practice and all kinds of Dutch treats.
